I no joke think Nash88 on the Hawks board is Earl...has said 'take it to the bank' a few times and reminds me of Earl the way he tries to convince everyone he's legit.

Okay people so none of you will believe me but i swear on all that is holy when i tell you this. Just took my beautiful wife out for dinner and whilst driving home we pull up to a set of lights. As i look to my right, in the lane next to me and one car ahead is a black prado. On the number plate...... cogs17.

Now ive been pretty ho hum about this whole Coniglio situation up until now. Been happy to sit back and watch this unfold without any real emotional buy-in. But thats just about enough to convert me into a true believer.

I believe the DOC being referred to as not happening, is director of coaching. Not our injured leader.

Perhaps, and my best friends would agree, but my wife doesn't think so!

Anyway it was not intentionally comic, it was actually completely factual.

However, don't get me started at parties, on any obscure topic like why on why alligators can survive in US sewers, from people flushing pet alligators down their toilets when they are little and they tire of keeping them, whereas this is impossible in Australian cities (because our storm water drainage is fully separate system).


But seriously our best and most elite intelligence is that you guys have won the rabbit race, at your senior governance level people are certain of it.

I'm sure like last year where you guys missed on Shiel and got Wingard, Scully & Scrimshaw, that you'll be right and get some other big names.

Personally I think the whole D O C idea only existed here and was never part of our plans. That's only a gutfeel though.

Hmm the omissions this week of any interest are:

Sam Menegola
Jayden Hunt
Bailey Banfield
Mason Wood

Out of those 4 only keen on Hunt and Menegola. Can see other clubs going for Banfield and Wood.

Although Jack Martin starred in the NEAFL last week and yet not named even on an extended bench despite GC getting thumped by Brisbane...he's clearly gone and might be the player you're referring to.

I don't think GC could demand much more tbh now that they've dropped him for an extended period of time and he's OOC.

I'm thinking 2020 2nd rounder, which would be a great get for us.
