Not many others. I rate Gresham and Rioli (West Coast).C. Cameron > Walters > Papley

Immaculate interceptionWe get first dibs on Jesus under the father-son-holy ghost rule?
Who is going to post that article on the Gibbs trade thread on the cows board?Young Reid is awesome.
Not as good as this though.... Article from when he was made head of list (mis)management....

Which small forwards do you rate better than Papley?
Can someone tell me what Papley brings other than just forward pressure.
Admittedly I don’t watch enough Sydney games but the ones I have watched he’s good but not sure pick 8 good?
It’s all about quality now.Would you rather:
Acquire Brad Crouch with pick 7 and Sam Gray with a Third Rounder (potentially even take pick 7 to the draft)
or
Trade Pick 7 and change for Tom Papley.
That's the sort of scenario you'd be facing. Personally I'd prefer the former.
Exactly Jim. Papley for pick 8 is just incredible overpaying. No from me. Martin absolutely worth 2nd.
C. Cameron > Walters > Papley
He's got a young daughter, I doubt he'd go up thereDaisy would be perfect at the Gold Coast.
He will just let SOS do it for him. #gibsYoung Reid is awesome.

Jade Gresham
Robbie Gray
Charlie Cameron
Michael Walters
Gary Ablett
Chad Wingard
Luke Breust
Izac Rankine (Included in the list as he will be a better player in time)
Toby Greene
Orazio Fantasia (has had a recent form slump but I still rate him)
Daniel Rioli (Would be a more prominent player if he didn't have to share the small forward role with like 10 other players. He's a star!)
You could almost add Brent Daniels to the above list. He's starting to become a serious player. Just doesn't get talked about much because of all the other big names at GWS.
There are probably others you could add to the above list. That's just off the top of my head.
Papley is a very good player, but if given the option, you'd probably choose one of the above.
He's just the best that's potentially gettable. He's only worth a late first as an out of contract player. Might be best to wait it out for a year.
If we were to use pick 8 at the draft, we'd be hoping he'd turn out like Papley. We desperately need a forward like him. Why not actually just get Papley who is a known quantity at AFL level and able to have an immediate impact next year?
Did he also say that we've poached someone else from Hawthorne?Clarko on 360 on Cogs
It’s fair that there is no announcement.
We can all wait if it’s GWS, Carlton & Hawthorn if we are all in a triangle to get him.
Robbo- have you spoken to him
Yeah, but not as much as graham wright and our group have
Our preferences as coaches is players stay where there are, we aren’t getting a crowbar to take them out, but if they are going to leave we want to right in the mix
He said 1 was announced one hadn’t been and will be in 10 days or so. So there is another oneYeah he said it was announced.. unless he’s talking past tense in Bolts and Russell

He does come across as being honest, he really opened up on the staffing merry go-round. Basically admit he was in Sydney today to pinch a staff member from thereHe knows how to spin a bit of shysen ol Clarko
