However the point is valid for 2013
... didn't have a pick until the 2nd Round, Pick 26
Might have had something to do with having their first two picks stripped...not Dodo's choice.

As good as SOS is, surely Teague gets final say on who they should target. Afterall its Teague's arse on the line.

He surely can't be on that much moneyIf they lose Daniher they could gain two first rounders and free up a lot of $$ too

If it came down to an argument between coach and list manager, I'd want the list manager to win.
I dare say the coach would be more myopic, purely focusing on winning and perhaps relationships. But the list manager is focusing on list balance, demographics, $, contracts, trade cost, everything.

I'm not pigeonholing him, just going by where he has played since Teague took over and the fact that he did well there. Not sure why they'd play him there just to chop and change now. The focus seems to be finding a quality forward so it just doesn't make much sense to me to get one and then make him play in the backline.Don't pigeonhole Samo as a back. He may play there, he may not.
I think we've been crying out for another Samo, Martin would bring a similar kicking ability. Gives us great flexibility (HBF or Wing or HFF).

Talk is, that the Cats want 3 top 30 picks for Kelly?
Also that Matt Crouch is meeting with us?
Honestly my mate who is a dees supporter hates him because he turns the ball over consistently. Would prefer not to get him.If this is true, Melbourne FC would have rocks in their heads if they trade Brayshaw.
will they want fries with that? and an option to return if not satisfied with performances (as long as they keep the receipt?) geelong, happy to try it on.....Talk is, that the Cats want 3 top 30 picks for Kelly?

You misread that.
Geelong want to have 3 picks inside the top 30.
They've already got one, their request will be the same as last year - two first rounders, preferably with one inside the top 10.

Doesn't help that he has been played as our key forward for the past couple of years (if you've watched Port games you know what I mean)
More like the middle finger on the way past. That's okay, SOS will help raise the price again and they will continue to be a mid table side. Can't wait to wave on the way past
Geelong are wantonly taking the piss.Saw that on Twitter this morning (3 top 30 selections)
Even if Buddy does finish up earlier than his contract the Swans still have to include the remainder of his contract in their salary cap.Yeah i was wondering if that's what is going on...
Tippett didn't go quite as plan, Buddy seems to be coming to an end sooner than they would like
.. leaves them with Sam Reid and a few kids, at least tall forward-wise
