Macca, you’re missing the point.

Vast majority of posters on here like the ITK info. If the ITKs come on here and share info then get bagged, of course they’re going to stop posting. This ruins it for the vast majority.

If people don’t like the ITK info or get grumpy about it, then put the ITK on ignore. It ain’t the hard and it doesn’t ruin it for everyone else. All info is given at a point in time, which can change like all negotiations.

As to determining which ITKs are “real” and “posers”, who makes that call? An individual poster? How would they actually know? Gut feel? Just say if they’re wrong and the ITK disappears, much to the disappointment of the board, all because of one poster?

99.8% of people howling down the people complaining and defending the ITKs
.1% (the ITKs) considering not posting any more.

TCP and others. Please don't misinterpret the negative vibe in here right now as directed at you. The overwhelming majority of that negativy is actually in your defence.
Most people are just sick of good posters being driven away.

All one has to do is scroll quickly down looking for the ITK names at the top of the posts while completely ignoring all the nobodies posts.

I don’t know why people are shocked that minimal trades are done.

Think about it logically & the procedure. You’ve done a deal, your at your club (or interstate teams at hotels) you and the other club then have to get in an Uber get to AFL house to lodge the paperwork, but meanwhile you have another club you want to talk to, so knowing it’s done, you simply say “hey let’s meet at AFL house when we can I’ve just got another club I have to talk to” Then also remember in the AFL there is a third signature required so you have to organise the player manager to also be at AFL house at the same time.

All this at the busy time for these people for the year, meanwhile next Wednesday the AFL locks them all into AFL house for 4 hours, so it gets done fast because everyone is there.

I can see tomorrow having a few get done, just so the managers and clubs can clear the decks before the weekend

I agree with this. Saying "I know something you don't know" is just attention seeking. But people see through that. The real ITK's with a history aren't like that. Those that say they know something juicy but refuse to share stink of insecurity. Everyone smells what they are cooking.
