If we can somehow bring Scharenberg home, without costing much that would be great. I think his best is yet to come. Been serviceable in a good Collingwood side largely due to injury halting his development, and would be a starting 22 for us next year. If the trade involves getting rid of Jenkins in the process, and freeing up some salary cap space. Then start the car.......

3 x Knee reconstructions. All reports are saying he'd cost a packet of chips, and i think Jenkins is worth slightly more than that. I still think there will be late bids tomorrow and Wed for him.

3 ACL's is massive.

The chances of a 4th should never be underestimated.

Its estimated at 6X more likely after having just ONE ACL tear. Glory be, three would be a concern.

He would have to be on a small contract and on 2 years.

After McLure mentioned last week that other news about the camp would come out after people involved left you can only make the connection between McLure being a Carlton supporter and rumours about Eddie and the camp that Eddie will be/has been spilling to this chump.
Wait for it

Oh & fu** Carlton BTW. At least we can guarantee that the petals from Lygon street will make their once a decade trek to play us in Adelaide next year.

Adelaide are the ones who request to play Carlton away. I think the logic is don’t waste a home game against a bottom 4 team. Might be different next year.

You won't be disappointed...he's already gone there

Seems to good to be true? Must be more in it - or Jenkins really has agreed to take a large pay cut

I'd assume we'll end up paying a chunk of salary to get rid of Josh as well.

Alex Keath and Josh Bruce remain in limbo after a four-way trade proposal was shut down by the Western Bulldogs over the weekend.
Foxfooty.com.au understands Adelaide was the architect behind the arrangement, which fell down when the Dogs refused to slide from Pick 13 to 23 in the draft.

The Swans and Saints gave the Crows their initial tick of approval, but the Dogs rejected the deal.

Rarely injured. Consistent 2 goal a game average over last 6 years, usually top 30 in contested marks even though this is not a strength. Useful as bit ruckman - would be a good pick up for the Pies, or do you think Mason Cox is better?
Cox has stood up on the big stage.
I can't recall seeing Jenkins.

But this paragraph at the end of the article ....makes NO SENSE

If the Bulldogs can’t make any progress in the next 24 hours, they may look at trading down from 13 to 18 to unlock a series of movements that secures Keath and Bruce. But that relies on St Kilda hanging on to Pick 18, which is no certainty.

So it seems the Bulldogs may be the ones holding everything up as they want Bruce and Keath and think it should only cost them their 2nd (Bruce) and 3rd round (Keath) picks.

Alright that's easy to counter, just have us and saints holdfast.

I can guarantee you that these flogs are reading BigFooty trade scenarios, and passing them off as real trade concepts coming from list managers.
I would not believe a word of it, seeing as Saints simply won't have the picks to do anything other than use 2 x 1sts on Hill(probably P12 and their next years 1st) on Hill, and P18 on Dougal Howard, if they think that's his worth.

Bulldogs the most deluded out of them all, it appears.

Happy to keep Keath ....surely he wouldn't go into the PSD ....clubs if they woo a player, have a rsponsibility to get the deal done

This was our stuff up with Gibbs

Have a look at his 2017 prelim - was better than Cox in 2018

Not arguing that he was a great finals performer - he only played 2 good ones. But Cox’s whole rep lives off that one game. Jenkins a far better player

cheers bulldogs..bleddy party poopers

"But the Dogs remained adamant Pick 13 is not for sale and resolute in their belief they can land Keath from Adelaide and Bruce from St Kilda while hanging onto the first-round selection."

If they believe they can do it, WTF don't they bloody present the offer FFS - get a FKing move on

I'm not happy to keep Keath at the price it'll cost us, but I'd hold for as long as possible with this trade.

.
Think Saints would give them a run .....puts their hand up at an auction, but no money

Keath or Scharenberg ?

I’ve said this for a few yrs
You know what he excels at?
The fast break.
When he pushes up to the half forward / wing he burns defenders off when the ball gets out the back. Jo Le Goose etc.
Shite at running at the ball, excellent when running with the balls tragectory.
The game is not played like that now with 6/6/6 and defensive set ups so his pro attributes are not worth much.
