I would rather a cheap banger like Wills and spend the currency that Wines would cost on a players like Berry, Williams etc
You bastardLove options, great news TRP.
Now, what else is up our sleeve apart from Papley...
There's just something not right about the notion of Wines to our club.
The need. The cost. Having been a captain and now subordinate to a younger player.
Who knows what our real needs will be in 12 months time? A quality ruckman may be much more important.

Bloody Hawthorn.I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ollie Wines ends up at Hawthorn in a trademark Clarko Smash N Crab type recruiting heist. They have cap space opened up, the draft pick(s) assets required to satisfy Port, as well as the Chad Wingard connection.
The Hawks have been suspiciously quite in the trade period too far, if I had to make a guess, I would say Hawthorn would be more keen on Wines than us.
So basically we're sweet for another 2 years minimum of no first rounders if we wanted but would then just have to take one in 2021 given we took both Walsh and Stocker in 2019.![]()

Does setters have the body to be strong enough? Is he ‘dense’ enough? To be the big body mid?I think Setters will start being used more around stoppages/centre bounces, same with Walsh. SPS will play cameos too
LOB and Martin on the wings
He's a Brock McLean replacement.Wines isn't a Curnow replacement

A question I’m pondering.
That does seem simple.Essendon late pick to Hawks
Pittonet to Carlton
Phillips to Essendon
Simples
Mundy style on baller
Leave him forward with brief stints in the middle.Just Rewatched some of our late season Wins, geez Kennedy hands are so cleaver, quick and classy..
Very smart leading forward and Big body mid![]()
i seriously reckon he is a footballer designed for big finals.Just Rewatched some of our late season Wins, geez Kennedy hands are so cleaver, quick and classy..

Don't get me started on ruckmen
Couple of raw, project types in this draft that will be there late/rookie
The idea of offering next years first for Wines, take it or leave it, is nice but the reality is our future first is no longer as valuable as it once was. Teams will he operating on the basis that it will be pick 10 or worse, which probably isn’t enough for Wines on its own.
Leave him forward with brief stints in the middle.
His hands and mint goal kicking will be valuable up forward.
Okay so we essentialy know who we are getting through the door. Are there any names that we dont know of like a Newman last year that will happen?
