Reckon Dodo is the real estate agent trying to screw every buyer to increase his commissions one deal at a time.

SOS is selling swathes of land to developers at a discount for some parts, if it gets him access to another property he needs to satisfy a different clients request.

One is playing noughts and crosses while the other is playing 3 dimensional chess. Dodo is desperately trying not to give ground at every turn while SOS sacrifices a castle so he can turn a pawn into a queen.

It's the final Trading Day.

I hope he stays. His groins are cooked and don't want Essendon getting pick 5 and 9

I think his nasal septum is a bigger issue.

Sliding doors moment...
Had Buckley not been eager to take a senior coach role and prepared to leave the Pies
Then McGuire wouldn’t have phased out Malthouse
So when the Blues lost some games due to key injuries and missed Finals we wouldn’t have sacked Ratten and turned to a now bored at home Malthouse
Then Eddie wouldn’t have left
In which case Yarran wouldn’t have asked for a trade
In which case Yarran wouldn’t have had the issues flare up which ultimately led to him being in prison

Ergo Nathan Buckley’s ambition led to Yarran being imprisoned

Meanwhile if all this wouldn’t have happened we wouldn’t have MLG, SOS, Liddle or Teague running the club.

Hate to break it to you mate, but Ratten wasnt a great coach.

And our entire administration had their heads in the sand thinking we had a premiership pedigree list.

We should actually thank Malthouse for taking us to Ground Zero

I’m probably in the minority, but I really hope we are aiming a little higher than Jack Newnes.

Granted that the DFA pool is watered down and every club needs solid vanilla foot soldiers, but I just think there’s potentially better on offer that add a point of difference to our 22.

Who do you think could still be available and a good pick for us?

Agree Bennell would have the best chance of staying on the park fir a few years at lest at CFC.
Russell’s management and Eddie’s infectious smile, mentoring may just do the trick.
Newnes too as delist free agent is a no brainer, both these players are a risk but we need to take some gambles. We can’t be too risk aversive, Could be a massive reward, either player or both , together with Martin, Papely and Betts and we’re looking at a prepotent 2020 campaign.
Newnes to be this years Newman 🤔

despite the baggage: Harley Bennell, Sam Murray predominantly.

We’ve got the internal set up to support these players both off field and injury wise with Russell.

Yes it’s a gamble that could blow up in our face - but the stakes are very low (as they are a free hit).
