Why so? They have their pick and Melbourne's. If they finished last and Melbourne finished outside of the eight that's a huge head start in a compromised draft.

Yeah, it’s crap. I have no doubt if Tim Kelly was coming to a Victorian team instead of going to Perth that his trade would have happened tonight as well.

If this 3PM thing to make trades officially was something the league came up with whilst the trade period had already started, I am sure a lot of the bigger known trades have been completed and are being lined up for 3PM and after.
