I have no doubt that Beams will retire.

In fact I linked an article by SE which suggested that they will work on a settlement. This is different from officially retiring. We cannot list anyone else until he's officially retired.

All I am saying is that I will accept that he's officially retired when I hear it from the horse's mouth and on official channel.s

Agree, but if they take months to work on the settlement, the deadline for listing someone else will pass.

I think everyone knows that the club knew Beams wouldn't play another game, months ago, yet there's no simple panacea for dissolving the contract.
