We beat Pakistan last time over there, Australias last series away against Pakistan was on neutral territory so the Pakis were much easier away from home

You only beat India because of Rain and Tendulkar being injured, lost there the previous tour and only drew back in Australia against them
 
I don't want to sound arrogant or anything and i know England won the Ashes (very narrowly last day of the series on home soil mind you).

But i feel a little insulted when England are compared to us, they are nowhere near as good, they have no depth. Having said that they are the second best team, although Pakistan are giving them a hiding so that could be under threat aswell.

Flintoff carries them and only he could make our first X1.
their keeper is ...... > Jones < lol
their no.4 is Bell - weak
Giles is the spinner - the less said about that the better.
I could go on but i won't.

We are leaps and bounds ahead of them.

Harmison, Hoggard and Jones are better than any Aussie bowler bar McGrath

I know Aussies have never rated Trescothick, but he is a great opener, may not be aggresive like Hayden and Langer, but extremely consistent

Its funny, everyone bagged every single English player pre series, we win and nothing changes

Englands openers far superior to Australia's

Middle Order far better

They have an alrounder who can bat and bowl. Australia's alrounderss can't do either unless you count Brett Lee who made more runs than Langer and Girlchrist.

Don't have big egos like Australia. A little pressure and they stand up where as Australia, some good bowling and our starts reveal themselves to be nothing more than average.

Probably close to the old age home for most of our team.

Best thing possible is for the team bus to crash and wipe out our top order.
 
I'm not saying England aren't good, they are much better than what they used to be but they're just nowhere near as good as a full strength Australia.
We could field 3 or 4 competetive sides that could (on a given day) beat England.

You ********ing moron, we would smash a 2nd Aussie XI, we beat a best Aussie XI missing their best bowler, thats it, so if the first string side cant beat us missing 1 player, a 2nd string side wouldnt get close

Australia A might beat a few sides world wide, England aint one of them

Yeah Australia clearly win. What I wanted to point out was the Jones vs Lee comparison. Lee on the rise again? 1 innings of very good bowling followed by 1 innings of his regular tripe, and you call him on the rise? What was it, 1/59, 5/53, 3/30, and 2/99 his last 4 digs? That Pfeiffer being his only one since 2001?

Oh gee that's a stake through the heart, i guess we'll just have to settle for winning the Ashes. It runs so very distant to having 5 guys average so much....oh well...how disappointing.

harmison better than mcgrath, your hilarious. geraint jones better than gilchrist!!!! thats even funnier!!!!!! vaughn better than ponting, hmm, thats just stupid. i think warne deserves a few more < over giles. Strauss is NOT better than langer, hayden and tresco, about the same.
