How many businesses, not-for-profits, community clubs etc can survive for 12 months with no income?
If the AFLPA doesn’t agree to rip up all contracts then the AFL and all the clubs will go into receivership. Everything will start from ground zero one way or the other.

They will think it fair in their 2000th year.
Only with massive salary cuts.
20% wont do it.
No govt money should prop it uo unless the players are receiving a drastucally reduced salary.
The sport will live on though.

As a season though, its a writeoff.
Coming off what is essentially an 8 month break with less training and no footy..... crazy.
I guess the million or so people about to lose their jobs will need to be entertained.....
The package the Feds announced today in unprecedented in terms of national welfare and it still won't be enough to sustain many.
There is more to life than Footy.
