Honestly, I hate to be negative on umpiring or attribute it to a loss, but it’s just so ****ing blatant.

I’m finding it so hard to watch Carlton play this year when the umpiring is so appalling

The "talls" were Casboult being blocked and triple-teamed all day because 3rd gamer DeKoning had to ruck and our three young premier forwards are all out injured ???

Midfield needs a change up. Consistently getting killed on the spread. Too slow, get Walsh in there. You have a bonafide star midfielder and you are playing him on the wing. I know it’s because he offers more on the wing than any other options but the midfield isn’t cutting it. Teague is getting a bit frustrating with the same old slow setups.

Hate to be this guy but umpires murdered us at key times today which swung the momentum and cost us badly.

I’m fairly calm to be honest. I feel like this game perfectly sums up where we are at this year. We are not up there with the best yet. I thought the effort was there most of the game, but we are probably not a top 8 team quite yet. I’m still confident we will get there with this playing group (plus some handy additions at end of year), and with Teague as coach.
