Midfield needs a change up. Consistently getting killed on the spread. Too slow, get Walsh in there. You have a bonafide star midfielder and you are playing him on the wing. I know it’s because he offers more on the wing than any other options but the midfield isn’t cutting it. Teague is getting a bit frustrating with the same old slow setups.

Doesn’t hurt as much as last week but still hurts.

Can’t blame umps for brain fades and letting back in the game.

Changing the ruck structure when the momentum was on our side was a bad move and saw a 3 goal swing.

The ins were the highlight of the game. Really positives!

Didn’t expect to win and we didn’t but for 3 quarters we looked very competitive. Thought TDK battled well just needed to hold a mark. Fisher great return, Kennedy his best game, Jones an animal, Williamson okay too.
Cripps continues to have a poor year by his standards so imagine if he was his usual self we would be a 3-4 goal better team.

biggest problem is outside Casboult there’s nobody to help us straighten up which is why teams get so much intercept marks. you hear muppets like David King saying “where were Carltons talls Today they let the team down”... is he daft? They’re all in the injury ward.

we can beat Fremantle. Sad that Martin won’t be available he adds a lot of X factor.

On field leadership needs a Saturn V rocket up the keiser. We’re lacking that little bit of inspiration in key moments of the game - instead we’re opening the door and time and again 5 goal swing to the bad.

I am encouraged that it was the younger guys that got us into that game though.

Lost to a very good team, but good signs.

We have missed Fisher - his goal sense and work in close were fantastic.

Kennedy and Setterfield were good again, TDK showed signs, Walsh is building. We just aren’t there yet.

Thought we lost quite a bit when Pittonet went back into the ruck in the second half. TDK was neutralising NicNat and providing plenty of pressure around the ground when he got an opportunity in there.

His performances this year are doing him no favours. For one of the better players in the league he’s been poor.

Umpiring was terrible but it's not why we lost. When the momentum went against us we had no answers yet again. Not sure how to fix it.

A lot went right. The ins should all hold their spot. I thought Murphy played well in the contest and we adjusted well to the conditions in the first half.

A certain wingman was not at his best once again. He should be given a chance to find form in the 2s. I would love to see Dow come in for him.

Didn't expect to win, but still don't understand why Teague ignored what was working, tempo, hard tag on Kelly, TDK in the ruck, just killed the momentum after half time.

Gibbo was poor, Cottrell is a keep, so is TDK. Murph was good, so too Jones. Cripps and Doc are struggling. Weits was good, given the service to Kennedy

So many best 22 not playing.
WCE are red hot and playing at home.
They’re a bigger, stronger, more composed team than us.
We were one down for the whole second half.
Shame we had the obligatory 30+ point turnaround, but I’m less agitated about this than I was against HAW.

All in all I am happy with the players performance.

The umpiring was the worst I have seen and beyond bias. Our coaching really needs to be looked at, Pittonet was getting slaughtered. We looked so much better with TDK as number 1 ruck which was a forced change. For the coaches to revert back to an injured Pittonet was atrocious. Also the fact we are seeing the same issues with SPS as a defender every week and nothing is changing is also beyond frustrating.

Kennedy and Jones stepped up so I am happy they responded.

I have to say TDK and Fish coming back into the side and performing is fantastic. But I again have to say why are we playing senior players who are underperforming and not getting some of our other kids on the park? I still think we need a lot more run and carry on the wings and in the midfield. Still seeing Curnow, Cripps, Kennedy and Setterfield at the same centre bounce which is far to slow in my opinion.

Need to know what is happening with Dow and LoB in particular. Polson also needs a final crack as a running half back.
