I didn't see Cottrell cough up the ball a dozen or so time, directly to the opposition, I didn't see him give hospital handball which sell his team-mate into trouble, I didn't see him miss tackles at crucial times

I did see Marc Murphy do that though.

I saw about 4 cough ups out of the backline (wouldnt drop him but he burnt it a fair bit by foot)

As for the match. Dominated after 1/4 time, should have won by 3-4 goals. In SOS we trust. So much potential with this list. Let’s keep honey and tdk in for the rest of the year please.

Are we honestly the worst team when it comes to forward 50 entries? Honestly if I see our boys blaze away into the fifty or kick it to a 2 on 1 and hope for the best I'm going to have a bloody aneurysm. Who can we actually rely on to use the footy well going inside fifty?

Don't think Weits was beaten.

First Tab goal was no free.

Second mark he got was 50/50 - had Weitering's throat.

Third was Jones - Attempted overhead mark fell right into Tab's lap.

Thought tabernet had the better of weitering first half and then weitering better 2nd half. Least effective game for weitering this year

Yep lots for us to work on but hopefully we get Martin/Gov/Cunners back for the Suns which makes our forward line way more dynamic. By the sounds of it Dow pressing and puts pressure on Setterfield/Kennedy to perform which is good.

I have faith in the medical team, but I’d hope they err on the side of caution with Martin. If it’s a slight calf strain I doubt he’d be right after missing one game - it’s be a real shame to come back too early and really tear it.
If Kennedy is hobbled (as he looked late in the game) I think Dow is a good swap for him.
I’d like to see Honey play again - like Philp he had a few fumbles and missteps, but you’d forgive him that in the conditions.
Surely the older boys are right for a rest. These 4 games in 14 coming up will make it a necessity I imagine.
Good to see some selection dilemmas.

Ridiculous game of football, but glad we won. Came on the back of utterly dominating the stoppage, so well done, particularly to Ed, Murphy, Cripps and Walsh.

Things need to change though, or Teague is repeating the last year he vaguely offered success with the Carlton senior team: 2004. It's almost impossible to mismanage a football club that much any more, but there's far too many signs of that here.

It'll be super important for us to rotate players out and get fresh legs in. Two weeks break for anyone they manage to do that for, which is super important because our run home is absolutely brutal: Collingwood, Giants, Sydney and Crows in 15 days, the Lions in the final round.

Sam Docherty is a lucky lucky boy. I was absolutely livid when he shanked the initial free OOF - got bailed out by some absolute bullshit (going our way for a change) and an incredibly clutch kick by Newnes.

Walsh absolutely fantastic - our best player by a mile tonight. One of the better games Crippa has played this season too. Lots to like about TDK in the ruck too!

Reality is however we have absolutely stolen that, even if on the balance of play in the second half we probably deserved to win. Bank the points and look to next week

Not sure about that. The two frees in their forward 50 in the first were pretty, well, not actually free kicks. And we outplayed them for almost 3 quarters.

Well done to Cripps who played responsible team first football in that 2nd half. We need more of that, we don't need heroes trying to be someone they are not.

The issue then is that we rely on one player too much, we need 3 or 4 guys in the midfield/half-forward rotation that can make a good inside 50 pass.
