I actually don't know, we couldn't get a taxi so we just started walking towards where my mate lived (Riverton). We walked past a party and some guy had been stabbed and a bunch of mates of the guy who got stabbed thought we did it so they came after us

Hard to get a read on it. At first pass it looks like typical “footballer thinks he’s a big deal, carries on like a prick” stuff, but he’s claiming he was defending his sister who had been drugged.
Arrested and given a trial, with a guilty verdict, in about 24 hours. Remarkable. Plain clothes cops, no footage. Maximum penalty of three years in jail but also able to convert that into a financial sanction if he would prefer.
It all seems a bit off to me. I have no love or hate of McGuire, could barely pick the prick out of a lineup of one, but the initial “millionaire footballer is a prat” angle doesn’t seem to fit here to me.
More importantly though - ENGLAND’S Kalvin Phillips gets the call up!
