I am currently in a wheelchair as I badly broken my ankle in a car accident.
Anyway I am bored as ******** and a friend of mine has asked me to come with her when she exercise's. She is quite a Big girl 130kg to be exact, she is forever losing weight and then putting it back on. the thing is she has a very low self esteem and to be honest, it annoys me.

I've tried suggesting if she isn't happy with herself she should do something about it. she mainly whinges about how heavy she is. So today I said to her "well if you don't like being this way do something about it, go exercise" She took offence to what I had said and sulked for 2 hours.

After 2 hours of silence she said " how about you come with me when I go for a walk?" I said to her sure I can do that.

The problem is Shes very obessive and visits me every single day Its got to the point I hide when she knocks on the door I've told her Shes spending way too much time with me and should spend time with her other friends, She takes no notice of me and continues to come over all the time she calls me like 4 times aday when she isnt here.

I said I would come with her to shut her up but I really dont want to do it at all if I had said No she would have whinged for an hour and a half.

What can I say to her so she gets the message and gives me the space I want?

Please guys I need some serious Advice NO trolling please.

Tell Oprah you are happy to help her out if you can . She also needs to be reasonable and help you out . Perhap an appearance on her show would be good .

I could never handle clingy people like that, i'm a moody prick, i'd end up snapping at her and that would be it.

I'm not sure how to handle it, but i guess completely ignoring her would really end the friendship after a while, but you have to stand up and really tell her how you feel if she isn;t willing to accept it, it could be time to move on.

I wish I could be a little bit harsh and tell her how it is But I can't bring myself to do it. She doesn't have alot of friends and basically is the towns punching bag She cops alot of ******** from people mainly because of her weight.

I've explained to her that it isnt a healthy thing for her to be hanging around my place all the time and calling me multiple times a day.

Its got that bad that my partner has said to me it's either him or her and is convinced she has the hots for me, Which is completely out of the question because I don't swing that way. I don't blame him as everytime he wants us to have some " alone time" she is there.

I've even Introduced her to some of my other friends hoping that they might befriend her instead they can't stand her and are avoiding coming back to my place because she is there. They try starting up a convo with her and she either answers with one word replies or doesnt say a thing at all.

I'll never forget the time I told her I think we need some space as I believe we are spending way too much time together, the next thing you know she is threatening suicide and telling people how horrible I was to her.

That is probaby a good idea, it would give her company and something she could love.

Yeah it would a great idea if she could actually look after aniimals she cant look after them she has had Dogs and Cats taken off of her by the RSPCA several times for neglect.

Sorry LL, your threads say otherwise. :p

How? I've always been told to ask others what their opinions were? Have you got any useful tips on how I can let this friend of mine down gently? You have been on this earth longer than me I could do with an opinion like yours?

The old nicky would have not said anything but picked fights with her and done her head in or suffered her until i snapped and told her to "f&&k off you're driving me NUTS"

I'm reformed......

I'm trying to deal with people in a more positive manner so my advice would be to tell her that she can only come over once a week to do an activity you both decide on as you're after quality not quantity.

I can relate to that.

Seinfeld episode when jerry is stalked by his school friend.

LL, how can you have got yourself into this position with a friend in the first place. You need to make rules. I get antsy when my friends ring my home phone. I'd hate it if they did pop ins and i'd let them know it as soon as they tried. I think its important to set boundries with people. This girl is obviously taking the pyss because you're letting her. Lay down the rules in a harsh but fair way. If she starts with her suicide garbage tell her to take her emotional blackmail and shove it, you're not interested.

I call an emotional blackmailers bluff every time and they either never do it again (to me anyway) or i end the friendship.

Tell her honestly how you feel, if she can't handle that and cracks it then to bad, it's ok to be a nice person but if it is causing some grief in your personal life then time to tell her the truth.

You are obviously a decent human being ( we are a rare breed) but their comes a time you have to look after numero uno.
