Nah. There were a few posts in there suggesting he was still there even as SOS was on the way out.

It was all of SOS’s work that has allowed Austin job to be performed quietly. Would have been very hard for SOS to sell someone when we were on the bottom of the ladder. A lot easier for Austin now with the list that SOS built and the potential it’s shown this year

Essendon got him from Gold Coast for a future 2nd rounder, Saad is three years older, our third rounder or future third rounder is more than enough.
