I know this is more than likely rubbish, but you don’t just fling a bunch of guys when they’re at their lowest value.
If Merrett wants to join and Essendon is open to trading him a trade will be organised however that’s way too much. Effectively 4 first round picks plus a guy who’d worth a second for one A-grader and one B+ rebounding defender.

Question.. let's pretend Teague didn't get the job.. I think there's a high chance we don't get Betts.. if we didn't get Betts we don't get Martin.. and now Williams. IMO, Teague's best work (so far) has been off the field in attracting players. You begin attracting players and then soon enough, you become a destination club, much like Hawthorn proved.
This is only a sign of things to come!
