Good luck picking just three. Lol.

3. Emma Kearney. Was everywhere.
2. Jenna Bruton. Similar story, incredible defensive efforts at times against players twice her size. Imagine Jack Mahoney spoiling Tom Lynch repeatedly.
1. Emma King. Hard to go past a match winning start to the game.

HMs galore. Garner, Gavalas v unlucky. Gilroy. Bresnehan, King, Bateman. Whole team were good.

3pts - Ellie Gavalas
2pts - Emma King
1pt - Ash Riddell

Could have selected another 10 players today, they all played well. Mia King, Bresnahan, Kearney, Burton, Ashmore and Wright were unlucky.

3 - Emma King. Set the win up, excellent around ground, over her injuries.

2 - Ellie Gavalas. Made sure the win was big. Rapidly maturing into a genuine elite mid.

1. Jenna Bruton. Contested machine, keeps the whole thing going forward

3 - Emma King (ridiculously dominant first term and good for the remainder)
2 - Gavalas (best of a very strong midfield group + 3 goals on top)
1 - Garner (the standard all-round brilliance we're already accustomed to from her)

Plenty more with quality performances today; Kearney and Bruton particularly stiff to miss out on votes, but wouldn't be many who couldn't say they played well.

+1

3: Jasmine Garner - Geelong put more effort into stopping her than any other player on the field, and they failed miserably. Thus deserves max credit imo.

2: Ellie Gavalas - Was basically allowed to do whatever she wanted, and did a fine job of obliging.

1: Jenna Bruton - Got us out of first gear at the start with some composure at the bottom of the packs, taking the sting out of the contest. During the game at Punt Rd today, smalltown girl Abbey Holmes was on to something when she inadvertently suggested a renaming of Bru(n)ton Avenue.

3 - King (gave our mids an armchair ride, plus 3 goals)
2 - Gavalas (complete game)
1 - Garner (just strolled around and did whatever the hell she wanted)
