It's not tall poppy syndrome at work here, sorry to tell you. If Sydney had scored two more points in last years grand final to take the premiership, we would still be dismayed at the cultural meltdown at West Coast. It's only slightly more frustrating that a premiership team is such a bad lot off the field. West Coast are an embarrasment compared with recent premiership teams, such as Brisbane and Sydney.

I agree you'd still get stuck in if we narrowly lost. You'd have loved it. It hurts me to say this but no one can take away the Eagles premiership in 06 and that's the same as the Swans in 05 no one can take away the Swans premiership. Just because a team wins a close Grand Final doesn't give people the right to tarnish a great win!

Understatement of the year Players from every club get caught out on the town occasionally... that's nothing new. It's not just the latest drug innuendo Milkman, it's the continual indiscretions commited by several of your players, most of which are far more serious than simply being drunk in public. Have you already forgotten about Kerr's assault of a taxi driver, or Cousins' drink driving, or Cousins' state outside Crown Casino in Melbourne?
