I guess his point was that they were in 1 final, not 2.

They have the ability to be a powerhouse and create a something, that a home gf (and win) will help in. But they are atleast 2 winning seasons away (either minor premiership or grand final, or both). Either way they would have to keep it up, one eras powerhouse is the next cellar dweller.

It's been expected for years by the public - always high on the preseason odds often due to the anticipated success that comes with the ownership.

City have finally arrived. The Covid break seemed to transform this team. Before the break we were bang on average, underperforming and dropping points that would stop us from pushing on. But the return of the last season saw us start to fulfill our promise, and in 2021 pound for pound we were the best.

Now with the attacking trio of Leckie, Nabbout & McLaren plus the young guns in Trilio and Cola - look out! But that's next year.....

The GF is a real 50/50.

Socceroo quarantine robbing city of it's spine, and Sydney of their backline. Injury clouds for both sides. Will the kids be alright up front? Or will the big game experience count for more? Will a pumping home crowd inspire the city boys?

Anything could happen tomorrow. Let's hope it's City winning it's first GF
