Stephen Clifford joined Port Adelaide from Collingwood in 1978 and went on to enjoy an illustrious, and highly productive career with the South Australian Magpies. Best and fairest in his debut season, he landed the award again in 1980 and 1983, and was a member of Port's 1979-80-81 premiership teams. His final games tally of 162 would have been considerably higher had he not broken his ankle on two occasions and fallen out with the club over player payments for a time in 1984. Not quick, but tough, combative, skillful, and a thumping kick, Clifford, who exulted in the nickname 'Bomber', was lauded at Alberton and loathed elsewhere, and was without doubt one of the single biggest reasons behind Port Adelaide's success under John Cahill during the late '70s and early '80s.

Collingwood are a phenomenon! they led the premiership table (ie: most flags) for 60 years spanning the greater part of the century, more than the other 15 clubs put together, this total domination over many generations has scarred the football psyche for all time and has made Collingwood unique in it's rabid supporters and detractors

I don't hate you. Can you feel the love? I reserve my precious hatred for the Eagles...they win premierships you see. I've never hated Collingwood, they used to have heaps of Norwood players playing for them so I used to cheer for them often. I love Collingwood and every one of their supporters have all of their teeth, never hit their wives and are gifted with the sharpest intellect. Joffa's fashion sense and timing are impeccable.

Well my club isn't 40 years old, yours might be... but mine has a proud history over 110 years and dominated the competition like no other club has or ever will

Ahem, the very first AFL premiership, undefeated H & A season, most wins of any club, most finals won by any club, 4 premierships in a row, most hall of fame players, highest winning percentage (only club over 60% for 110 years) headed the premiership table for 60 years, longer than the other 15 clubs put together, a dominance unmatched to this day and likely for all time...
