I can't deal with these inane, deliberately disarming emoji-laden bluemours/comments.

Not finding them amusing or interesting at all tbh. Sorry team, just my opinion.
Neither Do I actually. I Pm'd EB and gave him one last chance to come clean with the info. He sent me more Cryptic emoji's anyone have a clue what he is alluding to?

If Teague is released, we'd hope we do have a coach already lined up! You'd love for the new one to come into the club a week after round 23, and spend a good month working with list managers identifying trades, etc etc and having some early conversations with players to ascertain whether you feel they'll meet the appropriate standards in order to not offer them for trade. Big week coming up!

Why not ? It's taken a while, but Dow look like he has finally made it.

Honestly getting a bit frustrated we seem to go out and trade for and or sign a big name player, I honestly prefer us developing our own kids.

It's all about picking the right kids for our club and list.
Not sold on Dow yet. He's had big qtrs but hasn't put together a game yet for me. Also seems to only have those good qtrs when things are going our way, once the opposition gets on top he goes missing. He's shown some promising signs but hasn't done it with any substance for me yet.

Same with SPS & O'Brien, they've each looked good at times but conveniently always when things are going our way and once the tides turned they are nowhere to be found.

Would like some of these developing players to show something in crunch time, not just when frontrunning.

I am more than happy to take pick 5 to the draft instead of trading for Cerra.

Quite frankly, I do not believe he has justified his 750 K P/A asking price yet.

We need to lighten the load in our S/C over the next few years.
I dont believe anyone should be forking out 750k (supposedly) for a 21yo . The only exception would be Sam Walsh who is an already made superstar.

So, you're saying that when things are working we and they look good, but when they're not and we can't get the ball they don't?

Stop the presses.

In all seriousness, you need different types to make up a footy team. Downhill skiers get a bit of a bad rep, but they're the ones who build your percentage when you're flying. I'm not calling these players downhill skiers, either; it'd be a bit of disservice to all three, really. But what I am saying is that when things are working, they make it work much, much better, so instead of decrying them for what they can't do get a system working so that what they can do is better emphasised.

Dow is only 21 FFS ... he will be ok, has kept building on his consistency. He is working harder across the ground this year. BTW this post is not aimed at you RED, just responding to some ... others, that have bought up the same issues.

Spot on.. only thing worse is over use of gifs.

Gifs are amusing, especially when delivered with the deftness a pro. Emojis can be used by toddlers. I'd like to see some more maturity.

Bluemour by gif.

Gauntlet thrown, people!

You would think they lined this up when the review was called to answers to the questions they already knew -- the club and next coach you would expect to have all the ducks in a row

You can make a chicken or egg case for it, are they symptomatic of a system that doesn't allow them to do it for 3 qtrs, or is it in their own makeup that limits the impact across a game?

I'd be cautious at expecting a system to fix all those players ability to impact a game instead of downhill skiing.

I agree

I’d love him but I don’t think the $750 should be spent in that type of midfielder
