So Dow, after suffering gross malpractice (which it simply must be, right) for at least the last two years, couldn’t wait just one more week to see the coach off - he just had to put in a ‘trade request’RIGHT NOW. And it’s SO BAD, he just put the request in without a nominated destination.

Did he walk in with an envelope marked “Trade Request”? Was it underlined for emphasis? Did he use a red pen?

Dow may want out now. But things can change.

Let's sort out all the changes in the coaching and footy department before trade week.

Let the new coach have a chat with Dow and where he sees him fitting in.

If he still wants out after that then so be it. He's contracted. We will have to get overs for him.

Personally I hope he stays.

Also as I said a few days ago I just don't see why Dow would want to go. He isn't starved of opportunity. He's getting as much as he likes so far.

Be careful what you wish for, Jack took a long retired premiership coach for lunch a few weeks back with a “plan” to take back the club featuring a number of favourite sons and administrators. He was serious. I wish I was making this up.
OMFG for real???? If this is true then it is like Jesus just shined on the Carlton Football Club. Holly ****ing cow looks like there’s some light at the end of this tunnel. Strap yourselves in guys, with big jack back I’m willing to take a bet with any of ya we will finish top 4 next season, perhaps even win the thing. Greatest day for blues fans since we won the 99 prelim

Going to be a big fortnight by the sound as we found out about the review, the coaching situation, delistments and players wanting out/in

I fully expect that this forum will ride every bump as hard as possible.

The Carlton Board, where everyone gets as low on the troughs and as high on the peaks as possible :p

I would kind of understand it from Dow now that it’s mentioned. Imagine doing the Bolton era being belted in the middle trying your guts out. Teague comes in and you have to work your arse off to get a go then the power brokers cut the coach from under him and now you’re staring down the barrel of the same thing over again…

would feel hopeless.

You’re kidding, right?

Elliot and his POS spawn can f*** right off and stay away from the club.

Jack Elliot and his ilk are yesterdays men, long since surpassed.

He's also a crook, but so is most of parliament

Thats honestly hilarious.

Teague: "Oh hey Dow - I'm finally going to give you a crack in the seniors - as sub"
Teague: "Trolololo see how he likes that"

A few weeks later

Teague:"Oh hey Dow - naaa for real, you're getting a game, just don't get injured in the first 5 minutes"
Teague:"Oh you go injured in the first 5 minutes ...... trolololo back to the 2's"

I lost my bananas at Teague's selection very early on in the season (actually last yaer) - and it was over Dow (Stocker, Cuningham and others played a fair part too).
