In my quieter moments I have fantasised about SOS going toe-to-toe with Young Reid once more.

Abuse? I didn't see much of that in his post, just a difference of opinion?
Perhaps I need to re-read it.
It was edited the first was really nasty and unnecessary, wasn’t simply a different opinion.Abuse? I didn't see much of that in his post, just a difference of opinion?

Totally agree with thisNo idea what to believe at the moment, wow.
But I definitely do NOT want SOS back at the club.
What kind of a look would it be if we fired Liddle, Lloyd + others and replaced them with bringing Williams on the board who brings Ross who brings SOS with him?
How is that anything but a boys club. Really makes me uneasy.

You'll find they are different people, not a group sharing the same brain.
Damn the Torpedoes!!Nail on the head.
But it is so much more fun this way![]()
Exactly. Let’s run a footy club like 1987!

I think sos would be great as HOF. As you say not really qualified to be ceo
I'm thinking that if SOS returns it's for a role higher up in the rankings. He's either HOF or CEO. The ultimate revenge maybe?
People saying it will be a boys club? With Diesel and a potential SOS re-recruitment? What’s it been for the last 20 ******* years? Or even Teagues tenure alone? He had the chance to change assistants, said nah fu** that, and also let’s get in Woosha who can be there in spirit to help me. and Liddle got some of his own crew in. People love creating narratives that are already existing in previous eras.
Just stop. These two will at least give a sh*t and stop my club from dying even further. I’m all for it. Not all new acquisitions and backroom staff will be ex-blues either. A mix is good.
I do hope SOS gets the Footy Manager job.
If only just to hear from some posters how he is qualified for the job after years of hearing that Lloyd wasn't.

He’s been approached.
Not CEO.
McKay, Weiters, Charlie, Stocker, Kemp, td, Walsh, Honey say hiBetter not take SOS back. Great trader , but shocking eye for talent.
My biggest concern is he did so with an ultra defensive gameplan.
After losing the GF in 2015 to Hawthorn, it was well publicised that Lyon wanted to move with the times and be more attacking. He recruited Hale and Guerra from Hawthorn to help with this.
From that point Freo did not finish higher than 13th. And the AFL rules have since changed to favour attack even more like lower bench rotations, stand on the mark and players able to run out of the goal square.
So, I think my concern is warranted that Lyon may not have the ability and know how to implement a successful gameplan in today's game.
If SOS is coming back in some capacity after being axed, could it be possible the review has something to do with it?
The double beer chug. Imagine that. **** that would be the bestSOS coming out to Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music mid program tonight on FC would be the stuff of legend... [emoji1787]

Totally agree with this
Lyon and SOS is an unholy nexus
Love SOS, but not sure I want him back (just yet)
What I'd much prefer to see is bridges mended amongst past players and the club and an end to the factional stuff at this club
Wake me up when Pav is CEO, president, the board and coach and high performance manager.
