LOL, really. Ok, let’s just rush the biggest decision that the club has faced in a decade to appease the likes of you and the other Big Footy mafia.

Our brand new, and highly regarded, CEO has been in the chair for less than a week. Give him the the time and space he needs to make the best decision here.

Anything else, would be highly irresponsible and unprofessional.

Thanks, appreciate that! We're all encourage to share the info we get so that's merely all I was doing, I do understand there is a person within the Carlton bigfooty community who has relations with him, so I'm not saying what I hear is fact, just that it's from within the club.

In terms of Voss vs Ross, I'm looking at this way. One bloke is prepared to crawl through hot coals, putting himself at risk of being publicly humiliated by missing out on a senior coaching appointment again, vs a bloke that seemed to pack it in because it got a bit hard. For the record I preferred Ross up until that point.

I'm of the same view.

I'm starting to think "withdrawing" from the process is less about posturing but more about Cook's appointment (rumoured at that time). Cook is masssssive on culture and Ross absolutely is not and left 2 clubs worse than when he entered, albeit with some finals success inbetween.

I'm starting to think he knew he had no chance with Cook on board. Could be wrong.

But holy cow, it would be something special to not have Voss as coach FOUR consecutive times (first being Voss' decision). Don't think he'd ever take a phone call from us again!

I'm actually a bit disappointed we didn't get Harvey as an assistant. Not really senior coach material and started to realise it so made himself into a pretty damn good senior assistant. Wealth of knowledge.

I'm guessing Friday morning at this point but more just a guess. Hoping it just a case of Ross and Voss finishing off the process and best fit is our coach.
I'm torn because I win more money if Lyon is it but I kind of prefer a younger coach of Vossy age.
As long as Diesel and Parko pick who they think is best, I will sleep well.

I’m tipping they’ll make the announcement about 7pm Saturday night. Surely Gil wouldn’t mind.

Been at carlton before as an assistant I would rather have fresh staff that fit the criteria than people who know there way around the halls and passageways -even if they fit the criteria ..
