That’s a poor trade brother. Especially when we have the hand. :stern look
Again I’m not saying the trade is good but it would be the only situation 20 is involved and even that has little chance of happening

It's like saying Pick 1 would be involved if we swapped it for CCJ & Pick 7....
I agree, I was trying to illustrate why pick 20 won’t happen

Right enough.

#1 - untradeable.

#20 - tradeable only for increased draft collateral - eg multiple picks in the 21-26 region OR a player the right side of 26 who'd walk straight into our top 10.

Since neither Jacob Weitering or say Darcy Parrish are heading to Arden Street for pick #20 and nobody is going to give us #22 and #23 for it though.. KEEP.

If we land pick #19 then fill your boots with shit trades for the other picks.

Nank was 22, the same age as CCJ.

The Tigers handed over pick 46 in the draft for the 22-year-old Tasmanian.

Sydney wanted to keep the 199cm big man but he was out of contract and had several suitors looking for more ruck depth.

“We’re really pleased to welcome Toby to the Club; while only 22 years of age he’s a strong and competitive ruckman-forward, which is really exciting,” Richmond talent manager Dan Richardson said.

“Whilst we offered a new contract to Toby and would have liked him to stay, we understand his decision to move on for greater senior opportunity and we wish him all the best for the future,” Harley said.

****ing lol. That's a ninja effort gr.

North, Richmond debate worth of Coleman-Jones
By Michael Gleeson

North Melbourne has offered a slide of draft picks in the late rounds next year in an ambit opening bid for Richmond’s ruck forward Callum Coleman-Jones.

North has offered their third round pick next year for Coleman-Jones but want Richmond’s fourth round pick back in return in the deal for the player.

The Tigers and North are a long way apart in early discussions as Richmond wants the Roos’ pick 20 for the big man who has been offered a four-year deal to move to Arden Street.

Coleman-Jones was drafted with pick 20 four years ago.

Richmond was frustrated and disappointed at the player’s decision to leave in the first instance believing opportunities would begin to open up in the Tigers senior team next season and beyond.

They also feel the player had been well supported by the club after his COVID breach at a Gold Coast strip joint and fight outside a kebab bar along with teammate Sydney Stack cost the club $100,000 in the salary cap and saw the players suspended at length.

North holds the first pick in the pre-season draft but it is unlikely the player or his management is keen to use this avenue to move.
North reasons the 22-year-old player has only played nine games since being drafted in 2017.

Coleman-Jones has spent most of his time as a back-up forward to premiership stars Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt.

The 200cm athletic tall played most of his junior football in the ruck and wants to play more as a ruckman than a forward.

Richmond has already lost versatile tall Mabior Chol this off-season with the ruck forward moving to the Gold Coast Suns as a free agent.
The Suns were in close negotiations with Coleman-Jones prior to securing Chol as a free agent.

Had not really thought about it
What did we get him for?
Nank is 28 come 2017, was 24 then and wasn't playing for swans seniors

RICHMOND has boosted its ruck stocks after exchanging a third-round draft selection with the Sydney Swans for youngster Toby Nankervis.

Nankervis told the Swans of his wish to become a Tiger on Tuesday and the club worked quickly to make it happen, receiving pick No.46 in return for the talented big man.

The 22-year-old played 12 games in his three years in Sydney, including seven this year, but despite his strong form in the NEAFL he struggled to cement a spot in the club's best 22 with Kurt Tippett and Sam Naismith preferred by coach John Longmire in the second half of the season.

Good good good good.

Don't flinch North. Hold your line and bring it home.

If they walk away then we walk away too. All the way to... well you know where we're walking the young man.

Thanks for your time.

Unbelievable. Without looking I think I can confidently say that Rohan is easily the worst ever pick 5. In fact he would have been a bad pick if someone had taken him at Pick 105.
No embellishment here at all.

Was Chris Grant taken at 105 or something? He's worse than him, granted. Pretty sure he's got every other pick 105 covered.

So we've offered pick 40ish in 2022 but want pick 50 back along with Coleman-Jones. I like it.

No wonder richmond is pissed

Who would you delist to clear a place in the list?
That’s not me wanting him, in fact I don’t want a bar of him. I was just answering the question about what it would take to get GC’s 22.

Clearly, Richmond think that CCJ is that good, that we are offering pick ~54 next year to the the Tigers and we are asking for ~55 back.
