That is unfair on Mitchell.

For argument sake he averages 5.7 Tackles a game compared to say Prestia who averages 4.3 a game. Love PRestia think hes a good player but Mitchell is far superior and would easily walk into our midfield and be the best pure mid we have.Oh and for even more argument sake Cotch averages 3.9 tackles a game.

We've had our strongest draft hand in years and had 2 opportunities to capitilise with clubs who need points in Collingwood and Bulldogs.

You can cut it any way you want and say "wait until the end" but not getting pick 17 for backend picks is a failure.

Being passive gets you nowhere.

The Dees never fail to work their way into the draft.

What is with all the Mitchell hate anyway? Regardless of whether we get him or not the guy is a very good footballer, Brownlow medalist and proven ball winner. Sure he isn't the Dusty type impact but he is up there in the best mids in the comp.

Actually I do not think he is a very good footballer at AFL level.

He is a good footballer, but not a very good footballer.

He only won a Brownlow, lets not get carried away.

Dusty's Norm Smiths carry more weight than a Brownlow.

At least in the Norm Smith the opposition is rated

Best and Fairests carry more weight than a Brownlow.

Brownlow victory just means your team mates where weak in the year you won and your team was not that bad

Doesn’t make sense to me. Port have Dixon, Marshall and Georgiades. They don’t need another tall forward as Georgiades couldn’t even get a game in the PF. So unless Finlayson or Marshall are planned to play KPD I don’t get this acquisition at all. Weird.
