Only benefit I see in picking up Powell Pepper is the fact we'll get to delist him.Should be looking into getting Powell pepper to the club

Reasonably good pointTo watch Dusty & Shai
How did you feel March 2017 ?I think the club has a bit of an identify crisis at the moment. Do they truly believe they can compete for a flag next year?
I've never been a believer you can half ass a flag run or a rebuild. You either fully in on one or the other. You see the Dogs and Melbourne both loading up with additional players.
If their only moves are losing Chol, CCJ, picking up Tarrant and then some 18 year old kids without fixing the midfield or forward line in the short term, it tells me they aren't serious about another flag run for 2022. The moves in the next week are going to be telling.

Is this Mr Magic's alt account?im getting really worried now that we've dropped the ball in trading up with our 2nd and 3rd rounders. lots of clubs are after the dogs pick and i dont see anyone else we could entice for a pick this year.
Yuck no thanksBargain. What are we doing?
He was AA squad this year and got 25 Brownlow votes. He may rack up some nothing possessions but he's still an elite player. Even 10 nothing possessions a game is still averaging 25 good ones. The question isn't whether they would be prepared to let him go at 15 (and I think the answer could surprise as they appear to be drifting toward potential fireale territory), but rather, would we want to repeat Hawthorn's topping up mistakes and give up a first rounder for a recycled 29 year old stat padder?
Thank God the answer seems to be an emphatic no![]()
Has been worked out. Was very very average this year86 goals in his last 51 games. Why yuck?
I guess if you're not a star you're a dud on here.
Pretty much strap yourself in and get ready to hope our boys are fit enough to have a crack. Cause I’ve got no doubt the club will be cracking in for a flag next season with the cattle we have.I think the club has a bit of an identify crisis at the moment. Do they truly believe they can compete for a flag next year? Would anyone be surprised if we missed the 8 again?

I honestly think Stack will help significantly with the small forward issues and if MRJ lives up to potential he will also ,our looming problem up forward is talls ...it's why it's essential we get at least one of Amiss or Van Rooyen I also think Bazzo or Aleer should be looked at as KPD options .. actually I'd take Amiss with 7 ..so if we can get 17 ,off the dogs i'd look atWhy do we judge our midfield based on 2021? Our best clearance players in Prestia and Edwards didn’t play or played injured. Martin missed 6-games. Cotchin missed games or was playing hurt. Soldo didn’t play and Nank missed games or played injured.
We’ve got Bolton and Graham hitting their prime age for midfielders.
Add a ‘ready to go’ midfielder this draft, get some significant improvement out of just one of RCD, Ross & Dow and we are set:
Nank
Soldo
Prestia
Martin
Bolton
Graham
Cotchin
Edwards
Lambert
RCD, Ross or Dow
New Draftee
I agree we need to add some more youngsters to our midfield soon, but given a half decent run with injury the midfield doesn’t worry me. The small/medium forwards (Fritsch, Pickett, Weightman equivalent) are our biggest issue by far.

we will do the bulk of our stuff on draft night. watch this space. For those worried, there's still a week of this sh*t to go. Plus teams can trade picks all the way up until the draft. Relax.
Yes we will be doing a lot of live trading of picks imo.we will do the bulk of our stuff on draft night. watch this space.
If Fremantle cough up anything like that they deserve to be where they are just your average run of the mill football club that is happy in mediocrityGeelong want pick 8 to 15 for Jordan Clarke. What a joke.
Ahhh a "different way" so they finally realised that being a retirement home isn't the way to go.
