Doesn't own the land under 2 parts of the business. Is not running the most successful car dealership group by a long shot. Very tight margins. When things go big he makes a killing but when things go bad he loses lots of money.

He's gone broke twice and been bailed out by others in the car industry. It was only when Hyundai started taking off that he actually started making big money. At one stage you had on one side of the road the highest selling Honda dealership in the world and on the other the highest selling Hyundai dealership in the world.

Oh and he no longer works full time and really only oversees the business without running it. Does still personally handle major customer complaints though.

For some people no matter how much you have it's never enough. Finding what is enough for you and being happy with that is a glorious thing.

In saying that if I was John I wouldn't be spending much time at home either. I'm not sure if she's still that way as I no longer have dealings with him or his family but his second wife is violent and used to beat him up. In saying that i'm not sure he could have ever divorced her as his business is so tied up in his personal finances that he would likely have gone broke again with a second divorce.

Still buys his first wife a new Mercedes every single year.

Does he still manage to head off for his couple of weeks surfing at whore island every year?
