Calculate influenza+pneumonia+ covid deaths.

Yet suddenly a shutdown is called for in 20 and all bets are off.

Prior to 2020. Have any of you cultists ever caught the flu or being significantly sick with a virus? Known anyone with a respiratory illness?

Does it strike you as at all relevant that the fact we had as many deaths from covid as a normal flu season, but with restrictions and much higher vaccination rates kind of points to the fact it would have been a lot worse without?

Yes we do see that unvaccinated people go to hospital, die, at a lot greater rate than vaccinated people.

Vaccine effectiveness rates don't seem to survive contact with the real world. From what I see, trials do weed out very vulnerable people. They weed out as many confounding variables and try not to kill anyone.

New variants have blunted a bit of the effectiveness but it is far better to be vaccinated than not.

Vaccines are very effective against Delta (which is still extant)

Omicron is a very different story, they are not really doing anything to reduce its spread.
Luckily its 99% less virulent than OG Covid19 or Delta.
Vaccines just lower the severity even more.
