Top 5 Things You Could Do On A Monday While Waiting For A Match Thread
Wow I'm bored! It's a catchphrase said by everyone in the SFA on a Monday. Much like Garfield, the residents of the SFA hate Mondays because there are just no match threads. Instead you have to read boring media threads that try to inject something into the SFA on it's saddest day. Today this writer is going to give YOU the best advice on how to spend this arduous day
1. Long walks on the beach
Anakin Skywalker SHOULD have said he loved sand, because everyone loves sand
Self-improvement is something that we preach here at BastFeed, and we offer this bit of advice in order to make yourself that bit more interesting. Everyone in the SFA is incredibly boring and have no unique personality traits whatsoever, so how about doing something that would make you more relatable? People love others who like long walks on the beach, it's the most desirable trait in another human. Perhaps this experience could even extend to the match thread, and you could tell your opponent just how good that walk on the beach was. It would be lovely
2. Wait
...
Watching paint dry never sounded so good. Do you really have ANYTHING else you could be doing today? The answer is probably no. This Monday how about you stare at a wall for 12 hours before jumping back into bed and falling asleep! Not only is this a great way to make time pass, it's probably the most fun and engaging thing you'll do all week. Seriously, do you think anyone in your upcoming match thread is going to entertain you as much as the grey paint on your living room walls?
3. Explore the rest of BigFooty
ХРАНИ БОГ БЕЛАРУСЬ
Probably the most dangerous idea yet, but potentially the most rewarding. Did you know there are OTHER boards on BigFooty? And Chief would really like you to visit them, because the more threads you look at, the more millions he rakes in. There are many exciting boards on BigFooty including the Belarusian Premier League board, where you can discuss everyone's FAVOURITE former-soviet union member's national soccer league. Or you could visit the Regional WA Footy board, a board that seems to be so boring that no one has visited it nearly 7 months. If you ever think the SFA is inactive, just remember it could be worse.
4. Explore the SFA board

There is a LOT of interesting media on the SFA, with the best pieces of media usually relating to Headless. If there's one thing that's nearly as good as a match thread, it has to be a Headless-based SFA thread. If you can find one of these golden media threads, you've had a VERY productive Monday. Alternatively, you could think about sending in an expression of interest to become admin or even looking at all the (very) interesting stats posted by serial_thrilla in the SFA Season 33 Fixture, Ladder and Statistics Thread.
5. Retire
Maybe it's time to join the Roys
There is one thing we all desire, attention. Next Monday you should consider retiring and getting attention from everyone in the league. You don't have to ACTUALLY retire, just say you are and don't provide any reasoning whatsoever, only to show up the next day and post in the match thread like nothing happened. If you REALLY want to mix things up you can seriously retire and participate in media Monday everyday of the week. Imagine this, you don't participate in a match thread for the rest of your life, it's like you're stuck in a permanent state of Monday. This is a terrifying thought, but something to spice up your week!
