With 2x5 pointers and a couple 4’s in a side we will always be at close to max if majority of those 4 are in.

No bongo (coach), Laguada, Rayner, colleta, grabowski, Muir, langwell (coach), Petrone

Not even including reserves list. That’s a lot of key position players man.

Thing about covid is now until tomorrow is a long time let’s hope no more cases come up

Unfortunately it’s going to happen to a few clubs it’s just the way it is. The flu is also taking an effect as people haven’t been outside for a few years due to lockdown.

Who is coaching if Bongo is not there??

Half of them have bene injured for a while & Laguada is in Ess VFL squad for this weekend. Come on Bash, stop looking for excuses

Yeah obviously Sherlok. When did i say they were all covid related... No excuses mate, this is the world we live in now, never once did i say Ek WILL loose.

I said its going to be very tough and if you dont think it will be tough for a depleted ek side without their coach to beat an almost full strength PV then your dreaming. But if they do pull off the upset then wow will be a better win then the 1 point over Marby considering how important this game is for both teams finals chances..

Like i said also that was only regular Senior players. Reserves list is not immune to covid either mate lol. Lets hope no more drop off from now till then 24 hours is a long time when it comes to Covid.

Anyway enough about this topic, is what it is. Like Turbo said this wont be the first time a team cops covid related outs to important players or club officials before a big game and it wont be the last.

Hopefully doesn't happen to a team on the big dance!

Cmon bash, it’s bit of like for like with ins & outs for Ek. Couple of decent ins Micallef & Marshall as I’m not sure on the others
Grabowski a big out and Bongo. Not sure you can count LaGuda as his VFL listed isn’t he. Can’t rely on those players every week.

2 of the ins are playing either their debut senior game and second senior game so good opportunity for the young lads.

Very hard to replace key position players like bongo, colleta and Rayner. Let’s not forget it’s the coach too lol.

Never know tho!! They beat them without bongo playing last time.

Anyway like I said wasn’t just seniors affected with covid, according to ek socials ressies going with 19 into the game at this stage.

EK have still been able to put the nucleus of their team on the park. Plus playing at home in front of that rabid EK crowd should be enough to get them over the line.

Keilor on the other hand are particularly hard to beat at home. Plus they will be really smarting after being held to an unexpected draw against Greenvale last week. Would be a huge upset should the Mores win.

Fair enough either you really really rate EK or don’t rate PV if u think ek are favs.

I do agree though keilor are very very good at home. Should turn it up after last weeks result. I still think mores can get it done. Jury to have a big one

Ek did well to hold on for 3/4 in the end PV too good today, just too many out to get the better of PV. 21 for their team got done for striking, was dirty throwing cheap shots all day. Umpire reported and sent off the wrong person, I’m sure video footage will correct it

Avondale MASSIVE result!!!

I’ve watched EK three times this year and they throw plenty of cheap shots pot calling kettle black.

Bullshit , there were no cheap shots and the game was played in good spirits all day . P V far too good and dominated play all day other than the first 10 minutes.

Like I said PV too good today, but there was cheap shots thrown by that one player that’s why he was reported, go re watch the footage third quarter..

No biggie though let’s be honest happens all the time though, thats football.

The lack of numbers from EK supporters in the rooms after the game was terrible or was that Covid related too 😂 poor effort … totally outplayed today
