Probably best to wait to be this sarcastic until after Sydney have played 2 good games in a row, maybe even 3 good games in a row.

Is that the rule? So after Tigers and Dees performances it was ok?

Maybe best to wait for two bad games in a row before writing them off then?

Quietly confident v freo

Yeah we seem to do well against the better sides. I'd almost rather Saints knock them off this week as we'd almost be playing for a spot in the four next week.

Interested to hear peoples views of Stephens. I saw quite a bit of him tonight and was surprised he got so few touches.
I spent a lot of time watching him during the match. He was always very wide and very deep. Unsure if this was deliberate but felt like he was told to play there.

In saying that it would not surprise me if he was dropped

Am really happy with that. Play at our best and we are unstoppable

Loved Reid's game. Really stepped up. Was nervous when Ladhams went down but Reid did very well.

Ladhams also played well before his injury

Papley good hopefully hos yipps are gone

Heeney better

All the mids were better. Warner outstanding. Mills bounced back well

Clarke did really well in his role

Think Amartey is better as a deeper forward than McDonald. Buddy might get in his way a bit too much

No complaints really. Other than a fit ruck and putting Cunningham to the sub again, no changes for next week

Pretty good post on the dogs board

Interested to hear peoples views of Stephens. I saw quite a bit of him tonight and was surprised he got so few touches.
Could have had more touches, but it's a bit hard playing on a wing when we're keeping the ball almost strictly in the corridor when we have possession.

Still think we should have gone to him more than we did. Had acres of space on a number of occasions, and was flatly ignored. Probably a combination of game plan, and him needing to earn the trust of his teammates that he is a good option to be moving the ball forward.

His kicking has been pretty good since he returned though IMO. Think he has more upside this year than anyone else that could feasibly slot into that role.

Clarke has proven enough to come in and play his role. I'm not expecting anymore than that and he's offering more than Wicks & Campbell.
Interesting that Clarke was brought into the team for Campbell, not that Campbell was injured or unwell. Horse said he did his job. Really happy for him and hope he gets another year.

We played straight down the middle most of the time. Very rarely wide.
All three of our "flankers" Gulden, McInerney and Stephens saw only a little of the ball.

Dogs gave us a lot of space in the middle. When we're allowed to play our rapid fire handball game we're hard to stop.
