His days were numbered once Geoff Walsh was appointed to oversee their review.

Imagine gutting your list to bottom out then a year later deciding the senior coaching position is win-loss based. Regardless of who was coach he would have been a dead man walking. Likely the same scenario for whoever gets appointed now.

Won't be too many highly credentialed coaches jumping to take the job under those circumstances.

Paul Roos convinced him, then permanently relocated to Hawaii and is still in a 'consulting & mentoring' role over there. That's potentially a bigger pisstake than Steven Trigg being Carltons CEO from SA.

The moment the board has to come out and publicly state the coach has its full backing is the exact moment the coach is a goner.

Compare it to most other lists and you will see what i mean.
Noble did a poor job but very few coaches could do anything with this list. It still needs another 15-20players turned over before it is anywhere near competitive. Thrashings are expected.

My point is they’re not 60-100 point loss every week type bad. Just my opinion. Last week against Collingwood demonstrated that. Oh and that Sydney game earlier in the year. Each to their own.

You played out of your skins against us (which makes the timing of this particularly odd to me) and kicked 12.3 against Sydney in April. I do think your list management needs some serious changes. It's not an insult to your club. Some good drafting and wily recruiting will go a long way.

Yep and that effort has been lacking all year. I tend to think that’s partially a coaching issue.

In fairness North are struggling on and off the field. They get a tick for turning their debt around but a complete board change, recruiters leaving just before mid season draft, 3x coaches in 3 seasons, reports the AFL is going to do a full scale investigation into how they operate, shocking list management meanwhile in the last few years North have done all they can to align themselves with Tasmania
