I'd have to pick Daicos because the alternative is to not pick one of the greatest players in the history of football and I can't be doing that.

Pants because he was brilliant and would give us the combo of power, run and skill to bridge our older mids and the kids.

Have to go positional with the third choice. Looking at the list, it's bonkers that Manson was only 194cm! A lot of our "taller" players in '90 just aren't that tall by comparison with today. So on that basis I've gone for Craig Kelly at 190cm. He had his limitations but he'd stomp on some Gen Z toes and pinch some skin and generally keep me entertained while locking down a second or third tall.

I thought maybe an in and under mid like Tony Shaw might be more of a need than a strong bullish wingman. Went with Millane as he could go forward or into the middle too.

I think Millane would be used on the inside in the modern game.

Tony Francis to help the current side on the clearance front.

Maybe the Brown brothers have made us forget just how good their father was as a player. Gavin would no doubt be useful in our forward line and his courage would be an inspiration. But Millane could also play that same forward role.

From that team he is the closest we had to a Clement i.e. very skilled by foot and effective 1:1 even if a bit undersized.

I think he'd transition very well to the speed and style of the modern game whereas I'm not sure about the rest of the backline.

The third is tricky. I would love Pants (or Wright) in for WHE, maybe. Monkey in for Cox would be hilarious - imagine Monkey and RamBeau hitting the same contest together!!

Francis would have given us more bite in the clearances and pace to get away. From memory he was riddled with injury later in his career and finished up at the Saints for a year. However he played well when it counted on grand final day. He would actually be an asset to our current midfield with his ability to win the hard ball.
