so cos other are just getting started whilst others are going strong means that it doesnt count? like premiership points should only start getting counted after the bye or something like that?

Argue age all you like, but they all fit the criteria and should only be judged on their performance. Age difference is irrelevant outside of award criteria.

if you want to discuss just 18 year olds or just KPD players who are 20 then there is nothing to argue. But that would be for another thread that no one would read.

as for nic martin, you mean a forward who averages 0.5 goals more and about the same number of score involvements per game than a midfielder? go on....

vs daicos) he hasnt gotten 40 disposals in a game and averages less disposals than daicos. you cant convince people he is more deserving under bigfooty criteria. disposals > everything else. is he a better contested mark? doesnt matter, does he break the lines and burst through packs better? doesnt matter. does he get more contested possies? doesnt matter, does he have almost twice as many pressure acts per game? doesnt matter, twice as many tackles? doesnt matter. does he have more score involvements and kick more goals and launch more scoring drives? doesnt matter. Do the coaches give him more votes? doesnt matter.

Daicos gets more disposals end of story.

vs SD) he isnt a KPP so SD is better cos selective stats mean no one kicks goals on him when they arent kicking goals on him.

Will a B&F in his 1st season for the side currently 2nd on the ladder convince you?

They should just base it on coaches votes to save any angst

They should get rid of Ch 7 commentators from the panel and just go with randomly selected BF members. Chief would push for it to be Premium members but anyone should be in with a chance to be on the panel.

To be clear, I don't think anyone is assessing Daicos based on disposal numbers. Quality of disposals matters and there aren't many in the competition delivering better quality than Daicos, let alone in the rising star group.
