The Dunkley’s already own a house in Noosa. Dunks going to a QLD team is far more believable than Port.

Noosa is two hours from Melbourne. Adelaide one hour. No need to move to either

Ah good point. I wonder if we could try to get both picks this year for Dunkley plus whatever we can give them for points.

Yeah was going to poke my head in here and mention that. If Dunkley does request a trade here, you might get both this and next years firsts and then some, but there would need to be plenty of points coming back as well.

Meh, no offence, I don’t take much notice when someone goes back to raw stats to compare developing players under these scenarios. There’s way too many other factors at play.

I’m confident Garcia will be better than McLean ever threatened to be, albeit in a different role.

Has a higher ceiling IMO.

I am not in your camp. Toby was a genuine good player. Garcia is a role player only.

Yeah I just don’t see how Brissy gets done, I wouldn’t send anything back with Dunks for Payne & their first, he’s just really not that good. Plus he probably doesn’t want to leave anyway and is contracted.

We don’t have points to give up either, we need to take multiple picks to the draft this year and cut deep with the deadwood on the list.

Plus I don’t think Dunks is dumb enough to choose a club that can’t get it done a 2nd time around. He’d be a bloody spot on pick up for Brissy though, the actual club makes a lot of sense for everyone involved but I just can’t see Brissy getting it done this year

If he's considering Qld, why not The Sun's? They lose Rankine and get a good pick from Adelaide, that gets ontraded to us.

Could be as many as six. Might have to get creative doing it though, by swapping guys from the main to the rookie lists and vice versa.

If Dunkley wants to request a trade for a season extra deal, I'd walk him to the PSD. I back us to organically grow our list cover him.

When he was drafted he was determined to stay in Victoria. So much so Sydney would have matched any bid for him by an interstate side. So he can either stay in victoria or if he wants to go interstate to maximise his dollar value then he can go to WCE.

And we could just free his money up to use on a free agent so it's not a complete net loss.

Maybe just me but he showed his true colours when he requested a trade to Essendon.

We’ll see, he wasn’t able to get those early opportunities that McLean got, which is why I think he gets underrated on here, but he’s now playing some footy.

He’s still very young.

Dunkly, 29 and 37 to Brisbane

13, 19 (Mcstay compo) and Payne to us.

Effectively Dunk for 13 and Payne. And 29 and 37 for 19 which gives them a points bonus to help with Ashcroft.

We get some KPD support and take 13 and 19 to the draft.

In term of his actual worth, yes, but apparently the Pies are giving him $600k plus which goes close to end of 1st round

coming to us on here a while back. Different source ive been speaking to, but equally connected has told me we are still trying to get Leon. If we miss out on him the footy dept is still getting a shake up and we are looking to bring in experience.

Hiiii, I was the poster who posted in the Dunkley thread.

Context: I went to the pies and blues game and was surrounded by the Blues players.

Dunkley to Lions was said by 1 player and others agreed. He mentioned that he heard from Dunkley recently.

One of them did reference “doesn’t his Mrs play for the Adelaide team”.

He said “yup, but he’s still going to the Lions. It’s a done deal.”
