C Scott mic'd up in the box during 2020 GF. I think he probably regretted saying that but we were building a decent lead at the time.Wasn’t that Paul Keating?

Fantastic post!Let's see if that 'Coach of the year' award was deserved...
Only one coach won the premiership, having very junior assistant coaches, reinventing how line-coaching was done in the sport, revitalising the team after a heavy loss against Melbourne in the finals in 2021, dominating the competition in 2022 for 16 wins straight, dominating the last two games of the year against the second and third best teams of the year (with the opposition) coaches saying they were beaten in every facet of the game, revitalising players with new roles, bringing in young players with hunger that easily ended up as some of the best players in their positions, changing how midfielders spent time on the field, not having Dangerfield and Stewart (2 of our top 3) for huge chunks of the game, resting very good players throughout the season, and winning with a team who were 'past their prime' and not in a sweet spot for age.
Meanwhile, the Pies had a lucky streak of close wins againts average teams. When it came time to go against the best, their close wins became losses. They had heart, but not much else. It will average out next year and they'll be around 7-10.
At least most make it to the bus stop.as opposed to the Cat ferals that hang around Moorabool St bus stop?

Typo? that would be cell singular surely.Pies caller asking why play the hardball on not taking 25 for OH and taking 27 for Grundy - and if he goes PSD they get nothing
There was dead silence - so many Pies fans think they will get something when he goes PSD -
The silence was absolutely beautiful as you could hear the 2 gerbals on the belt drive finally powering the cells enough to allow the reasoning of the holdout makes zero ******* sense.

I'm not sure that sound is the gerbils on the belt drive. I think the sound is the poor little rodents trying to scratch their way out of carefully positioned tubing.Pies caller asking why play the hardball on not taking 25 for OH and taking 27 for Grundy - and if he goes PSD they get nothing

Mackie and Co are getting all their ideas straight from this blog.If we could work it into the Henry/Mitchell deal, it could work.
Like 33 + Stephens to Hawthorn, Mitchell to Pies, Henry to us?
My favourite response so far!
I’ll show myself out…..

Sounds like Ollie Henry shares your view!Let's see if that 'Coach of the year' award was deserved...

but Prismall had multiple arm injuries followed by a knee reconstruction after doing his ACL. By the time he left Geelong for Essendon he was a shadow of the player who had such potential as an inside mid with his silky skills.Id say if he was obviously not up to it ..it would be like Narkle. To me its probably a bit like Prismall. If he moves we will see what he does at a club with a different group around him. May fail may not. ...but with the in's we have brought in. id probably do the trade if its reasonable.

PJK the last of the great PM'sI think it was Paul Keating who said "I'm going to do you slowly" to John Hewson.
It is what Ball did to get to CollingwoodQuestion... and I thought club's wouldn't get away with doing this, but trade radio (Goddard though) said Dunkley can do it.
Henry put like 700k for 1 year on his head in the PSD and get to us... but then smooth out the contract.
Doesn't pass the pub test for mine otherwise, surely we'd just do that.
yeah but collingwood honoured that contract he put on himself. He's saying Henry would only agree to Geelong to spreading out the contract. Thats probably draft tampering. It is what Ball did to get to Collingwood
You're the guy who walks into the pub after Collingwood lose a qualifying final and tries to convince everyone that Geelong are cheats and Collingwood really won the game...In short a Nuffy... To be dismissed as a lunatic and not seriously listened too.
