The board is there to ensure the club remains financially viable and competitive... The professionalism (lack of) these guys are showing is appalling.

yep. but it sounds like if lindsay is buying stocks to take control of the sponsor - he is putting in some serious $$$ to most likely overturn rod as president, and perhaps replace him with grant??

basically, if Fox gets thomas on the board - it will be a case of, rod leaves st.kilda - or bill express doesn't renew its sponsorship. this may also be why the moorabbin re-development has been shelved - they have just learnt of this possible loss of a sponsor - and no longer have the projected money to do it?

either way - there is going to be another victorian side having a board spill before too long
