It's not that bad, it's kinda like a big suburb more than a city. The outdoor life is pretty great - lots of nice camping/hiking/mountain biking areas.

If you like the social life of clubs and restaurants it's a bit meh. If you're content to get shredded, smash beers and play video games (like me, a goddamn sexual tyrannosaurus) then you can live in Antarctica.

It's a great place to live. But it lacks the perks and opportunities of a big city.

Canberra has been fine to live in for a year but I was happy to leave. Camping was good but a part from that wasn't a whole heap to do.
