Great team performance this one.
Our pressure around the ball was just triple A. Suffocated Ports run and carry.
Our run and carry was just sublime. The releasing hand ball to the runner, just non existent a month ago, is now our biggest asset.
I know I've always said it but Martin is crucial to our forward line, JSoS is just a bloody smart footballer and please get TdK's and JSoS's signature.
I've also said this multiple times, but this team is good enough to not just play finals, but do some damage. Hopefully we get to see it this year!!!
That was some of the most terrible umpiring that I have seen today. So **** U maggots.

Another all round team effort… the pressure of the small/medium forwards in the first half was superb, exactly what you want.

I did think out aloud during our poo streak earlier this year. Was vossy hand breaking, and holding back the run and dash so that they were fit and firing for the back third of the season.???
Winx.

Helps when you don't have 3 or 4 each week playing local footy standard footy

This.

Ed Curnow's played his last game.

Fisher has been banished.

Lewis Young relegated to permanent depth player.

Cowan & Hollands will likely finish the year in the reserves.

Honey or O'Brien won't get another game they didn't earn.

Pittonet now behind TDK and we're not playing both.

And our foward line functions way better when we only play 1 small forward. Motts holds his spot after 4 snags. Owies & Durdin wait for their chance.

I forgot to mention well done to our Obi-Wan Kenobi of our footy club, Jacob Weitering on 150 games and our boys honouring him on his milestone game in the most appropriate way possible

Weitering deserved that after all the hell he has been though off field.

Couldn't be more delighted for Jacob

Those who wrote Mots of how do you like those apples?

He's a second-year player, a small forward, ina team who was mostly struggling in the games that he played. He's going to come in and out of games just as he did today. However, he is someone who has a lot of natural ability and smarts that you just cannot train.

To come into the side without notice and to produce the moments that he did today is seizing the moment. He and Jack playing the way that they did were catalysts to argueably our most impressive win in many years.

To beat a team on an unstoppable roll like Port Adelaide we're on while we're down on structures was simply phenomenal.
Up the mighty Blues
Makes a huge difference when he gets to play as a small forward instead of high half forward. Great game in his natural position.
