That was the most accomplished performance I've seen from a Carlton team from start to finish in decades. Totally built around playing as a team rather than as a bunch of individuals looking to save their own skins. I'm proud of the club as a whole for standing together through the bad patches and not reacting in the manner in which they have for years when the heat is on. It seems that we are not only maturing as a team but as a football club in general.

Clinical dismantling of a team that's won 13 straight. Should be in the 8 next week (if Brisbane beat Geelong OR Melbourne beat Adelaide), then a matter of staying there. *thought Adelaide were going to beat gws at time of posting. Less likely to be top 8 next round, still a chance.

We've lost 2 quarters in the last 15. The 3rd against Hawthorn after they were goalless at half time and the 4th against freo. That's probably my favourite part, we've been playing close to 4 quarters.

I've said this before. Bring the pressure and intent to hunt the opposition and we are a bloody hard team to beat. The past 4 weeks shows the blueprint and how we need to play each week. This has now bought belief and confidence. We have officially turned the corner. Enjoy the ride. It's going to be exhilarating

I forget which game it was during our run of losses but we had like 3 of the highest 5 possession getters on the ground and we got pumped, this game we had such an even spread of contributors, it was great.

There has been heaps of improvement the last few weeks but the most important imo has been the lowering of the eyes and attacking handball part of our game, so many times today the commentators pointing out our players not rushing their disposal, working their way through traffic and not just banging the ball forward,

It has made us so much better and it has brought a lot more players in to the game.

Whilst I still think we need to bring in youth to freshen up the list, you don’t throw away players like SOS and Newman, both offer lots and work there arses off.

Hope TDK stays, he was good today and still plenty of work to be done in the ruck to improve.

Great win, i expect Boyd to be suspended so would love to see Cowan get back and it would be great to get a game in to Binns.

On current form and factoring we lose 1 more could finish 6-7. I do believe Pies and Melbourne are gettable on our current form and at present playing better than Melbourne.

Im loving his game at the moment, whatever his aggression levels are, I wish he would shut his mouth after the whistle goes, he is treading a fine line where there is nothing to gain.
