I always watch the AFL Grand Final.

I was hoping for a McStay flag. Gutted for him- very topsy turvy season.
Both teams have been like us- contending for a while- very deserving of a GF.
I think it'll be a beauty, Pies to get up, just.
They are both equally prepared with the 2 weeks off, no real excuses.

Weirdly, I never think of that season as a near miss, but we were really close to pinching a GF spot. WCE were clear top after H&A

And yet late in the season they only beat us by 1 point at the WACA. The only team to do better than us against the Weagles in Perth was the Hawks who beat them at Domain Stadium by 24.

I'm very similar in my thinking

If GWS was playing then I would def have been watching, and maybe even if Carlton were playing as my cousin is Carlton fan, & would have been watching for her to send her comments

But with this match up I'm just a bit meh about it - probably wouldn't have minded having a work shift tomorrow to help the afternoon to faster

If there's 1pt in it with a couple of minutes to go then I'll likely tune in, but otherwise I'm not sure

Its funny I keep seeing people suggesting the Pies are more likeable this year, the media have said it a few times too because of McRae.
But McRae hasn't been unlikeable since its been shown he is a really bad loser last year. Can't imagine the sulking he will do when the Pies lose tomorrow.

Then you have them doing the Collingwood chant while Brayshaw was knocked out. And now booing Neale.

Yeah **** the Pies, hope their record of losing Grand Finals in September/losing Grand Finals to Brisbane continues.

With the weather being hot tomorrow, I hope the Pies get a big lead and Brissie run over the top of them due to their conditioning and being used to the warmth.

My Pa played a handful of games for Fitzroy and have a mad Lions mate who'll be front and centre for the match this afternoon.
