Yeah it's not great, particularly when you consider how teams played coming off the bye last year.

Hopefully they schedule opening round teams against each other when they're coming off the bye, but that would make too much sense, lol.

In defence of Casey ,we had 5 AFL listed players against 15 AFL listed bulldogs . I reckon a few at casey were not happy with the other AFL listed dees being not available .

Melbourne is playing the long game for Harley Reid, saying he is a generational player, giving up three first-round picks for him, meeting with him multiple times, saying they haven't given up hope. This is all laying the base for two years' time and Reid out of contract and bringing him home.

The reverse Jackson ... This is the plan and having a West Australian or two on our list as the sweetener.
