WC paying $3 for most losses. NM paying $2.50

next in line is hawks at $8
I shouldnt be telling you posters this but....

$100 on Eagles and $84 on North ensures a min $66 profit if Eagles win ($68 for North)

Assuming one of them wins the spoon/most losses.

Do people believe our premiership window is open for the next two seasons? If so we need the talent on the list now.

If people think a realistic tilt is still 5 years away then it worth getting WC F1st
No I don’t

2025 at earliest but I think that’s more a bottom of the 8 scenario that premiership window , so I’ll say 2026

I see next season as a tread water , ie somewhere between 7-12th like this year

Our best and most important player is going to fall away sometime soonish as that’s life when you’re 34 yo

Time for a Bearded Clam rant(sorry)

If WC future f1 is up for grabs, we need to grab it straight away as they will be bottom 3 next year. Next years is a midfielders draft and that’s what we are lacking. Unfortunately we won’t be able to get one in this draft, because there are only a few and they are out of our reach.
Sick of reading that we can’t wait any long for an A grade midfielder and that we are neglecting grabbing one. We can use WC first next year to grab one or even trade it down and grab another first. This will give us the best opportunity to finally break our drought and win a flag.

I’m actually ok with this , play long game

Also interested in Curtin as think he’s quality

Geelong should be a consideration for coming last. How would that factor in to the bets?

After seeing some of the pick swaps getting thrown around, which I don't like, I hope we just use our picks this draft
Really? If it's West Coast's F1 we're getting, I think we'll win out long term.

Everything hinges on North though - if they take Curtin, I doubt we're doing any deals.

“That’s not a rant - this is a rant”.

Odds-on WC 2024 is a top two Pick

and thats a statement not a question
Maybe so, but I don't think it's a "risk" that it will be worse than that, or people pull out their draft points calculators to show how we "lost" the trade because the Weagles managed to get up to 3rd-4th from bottom. We don't have to bet on them finishing bottom 1 for it to be a good trade for us.

The other elephant in the room is Petty..

we sell part of the farm this year to get a top 5 pick from having West Coast’s F1 and then Petty requests a trade to us..

the dees will hold us over a barrel and demand that pick and our 1st..
Tell them to go f**k themselves.

A Top 5 pick for Petty, lol. :D

We can get him the following year for nothing.

I would immediately trade that WC future 1st for LDU if it was possible.
12 months from now, we have no idea which potential elite player may be available.

If we had Pick 1 this year, Oliver would be ours. Well at least the choice of Oliver or Reid. :$

You know West coast be crap pick 1

then charity assistance package and crows reamed again nothing surer

Me placing those bets would ensure someone like Geelong or Richmond implode.
(I'd include Port, but I'd pay twice the above loss to watch that happen!)

Nah,

the F/S rules will change and we’ll be forced to use our best first rounder on Ty;er welsh no matter where it looks like he’ll be picked..

they’ll make it up as they go.

I havent looked at the fixture properly, but you would to do your due diligence and check up on double up games etc.

I think Tigers will be ok (ie not win the spoon) and the Cats with their home ground should get enough wins to avoid the spoon.

If Petty requests a trade next year and we somehow end up with WC’s F1, if Dees ask for that on top of our own F1, Reid should spit in their faces

He’s worth one pick in the teens at most right now, we don’t give a farck how shit their KFP stocks are that’s their problem

And if they won’t compromise we say sorry Harrison the club you’re at right now are pricks holding you hostage, see you in your free agency year
