You didn't make finals last year though.
Suspect my ladder prediction was the one that had the Saints in the top 8 (I've got them in 5th place). Take solace in the fact my 2023 Ladder Prediction was the most accurate of all predictions shared in the 2023 thread.I reckon I’ve seen one person predict the saints to stay in the 8 in here, seems every team around, below and above us is improving and yet here we are just being pushed down the ladder.
Adding our two main goal kickers back in the side, we’ve added speed and midfield depth over the off-season, Jack Steele isn’t playing on one leg and is breaking his PBs running wise, half our list isn’t on the injury report as it was this time last year, another year into our younger blokes who performed fantastic last season for us
I struggle to see how we don’t improve, outside perception is we won’t but I can’t see how we aren’t better than we were last season, we are much healthier and we’ve only added strengths to the holes we had last year.
I’ll also add, us being better doesn’t necessarily mean finishing higher than 6th, we could finish 6-8 and still have improved in my eyes.

Add the fact Ross has never coached a team that hasn't finished top 4 in his second year at the helm.

Page 28 of this thread, post #680.Do you mind posting your 2023 ladder prediction again. I’m genuinely interested.
Most think we're a bottom 4 or bottom 2 team.I reckon I’ve seen one person predict the saints to stay in the 8 in here, seems every team around, below and above us is improving and yet here we are just being pushed down the ladder.

Richmond in 17th place.
That is my prediction for 2024.Pretty good, top half was close but bottom half was a little wonky. Underrating Carlton, Richmond and GWS a lot. Do you reckon Richmond are 17th this year?
That's another false claimSuspect my ladder prediction was the one that had the Saints in the top 8 (I've got them in 5th place). Take solace in the fact my 2023 Ladder Prediction was the most accurate of all predictions shared in the 2023 thread.![]()

All there in black and white in the 2023 Ladder Position thread, based on position differential for all 18 teams. That's another false claim![]()

Noone was able to produce an example that bettered my prediction, and recall you in there at the time unsuccessfully diverting from fact.
So, go back to the thread and find a ladder prediction that had a lesser position differential but team and prove me wrong.
Put up, or shut up.

Yeah. Of course I would be claiming I had the closest prediction if I produced a spreadsheet that had your prediction closer than mine. You did a spreadsheet
And then went searching for my predictions, compared them to yours in another spreadsheet and your own data/results indicated I was closer to the mark
Funniest stuff ever
But you are correct, this is 2024![]()
That is my prediction for 2024.
Given this is the 2024 Ladder Prediction thread...
Go check out the 2023 Ladder Prediction thread.I asked for 2023.

Meh, I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm expecting a similar result to 2012 for us. Flying at the start of the year, flag favourites, then by round 4 or so, the injuries creep in and ruin our season. Hope I'm wrong obviously, but I think this team is just too injury prone to be a top 4 sideCareful.
You'll be accused of trolling your own team....

This is refreshing after seeing so many ladders, that are basically identical to last years ladder, just with the posters team higher up the ladderGoing for something a little bit different...
