A deplorable and embarrassing performance, totally outplayed in the first half and only looked like a passable football team when Brisbane took their foot off the gas.

Comben's second half performance was very good, he looked to be getting better as the game progressed.

For a team that was supposed to have drafted a lot of to ball uses over the last few years, they certainly turn the ball over a lot. McKercher is going to be a great player, but at the times he tries to be fancy instead of just finding a team mate.

Players were shithouse but what about the coaching staff. On a game with no wings, we went in with two genuine wingers in Stephens and Tucker who are completely out of form.

W Phillips good consistent performer last year averaging about 21 and mostly 1st possession would have been handy today. Lazzaro dropped? Also would have been more handy.

Is there a more energy sapping, spirit crushing, momentum killing AFL player then Luke McDonald. Yet again gives away an unnecessary and idiotic 50 metre penalty that results in a goal for the opposition. When the going gets tough our youngsters have **** all to look up to, to guide them, to inspire them and to protect them. It was awful watching today. Absolutely nothing. So many plodders running around collecting a pay cheque.
