Lol Carlton

I was thinking 😂 North

Through to the end of 2020, they'd only spent 6 weeks on the bottom of the ladder with only Sydney having spent less time down the bottom

Come 3.25 seasons later and it's up to 43 weeks - so out of the 75 H&A rounds since the start of 2021, they've spent 37 of those rounds on the bottom of the ladder

That's just a really poor return

Jack Bowes should be one of the first selected in this team.
Him missing out shows how underrated he is

Wonder if that comes down to him playing only 4.5 games so far this season?

The if he keeps going at this game rate and they redo this at the halfway mark if the season, he may well break in at that stage

Looking at the Chol incident, I don’t know if they appealed it or what, but getting a week for that is imo beyond laughable.
It was a push. Not a strike.

Hogan got off just last week for actually striking a playing in the head.
The MRO is in all sorts. And so is the tribunal.
We need a huge overhaul.

Hawthorn accepted the 1 week - decided not to challenge

Can you really hedge your bets on multiple causes of defence?

Higgins was unlucky here in my opinion. Alir trying to kick the ball, put himself in a really vulnerable position.

3 weeks is ridiculous. I hope he gets off.
I understand the need to protect the head but this incident was not entirely Higgins’s fault.

Spot on Aliir trying to kick the ball was a contributing factor, no way Higgins was in control from the moment Aliir decided to dispose of the ball by attempting to kick it.

Adrian Anderson's 10 pointsᵀᴹ

1 - Aliir is taller, bigger, stronger
2 - Aliir pushes Higgins' left arm down, there’s nowhere else he can hold
3 - Aliir’s momentum takes Higgins off-balance
4 - Aliir’s arms are not pinned
5 - Higgins expected Aliir would land more to his front
6 - Aliir kicking motion contributed
7 - No opponents remonstrate
8 - No realistic alternative available to Higgins
9 - Doesn’t fall under any key indicators of a dangerous tackle in guidelines
10 - Toby Greene's tackle on Mac Andrew was worse and not even cited.

Wonder if the length of the hearing may work against St Kilda

And it seems that the "good guy clause" is now trying to be used for 100 game players - what's next, Player X only debuted last week and wasn't suspended so he shouldn't be suspended after game 2...
