No Tassie picks next year, its last chance stakes. Prices may well rise sharply if you want to get back in.Our first pick next year likely to be 10 or 11, then compromise that further with Tassie picks, and it's a worse draft.....I'd do it.
We all hope that happens.
But if Caminiti and Sharman are flaky like they have been we don't have any other options. Keeler is no where near it at the moment.
Always good to have a bit of depth, it'd also be nice to have a competitive VFL side too if they do happen to come on.
Anyway, it's not the end of the world but I can't see why we'd be happy to see him go for nothing.

I think Sharmo showed pretty reasonable consistency last season. Mitchito getting back to his 2023 form will help... and if we draft Smilie or Langford then you'd think Scud would also spend plenty of time in that lead up half forward/3rd tall role.We all hope that happens.

It's a strange scenario...if we retain Membrey, he is still too good to overlook for selection, so it does slow the development of Sharman or Caminiti if they make way. But he's also still probably a little old to be part of the next finals tilt.We all hope that happens.

Warwick Green….Surely that's Matt Clarke
like it or not he is, unless we pick someone else up last minute. Or the coaches suddenly have a change of heart about Max Heath. I would have played Heath and/or Keeler in that last Carlton game to see how they go at AFL level but what do i know.We can't rely on Hayes to be second ruck he's played 2.67 games a season since we got him
His back end of the season was good but he also hasn't been able to cement a spot in the side for a decent period of time.I don't think Sharman has been flaky. He just needs to be backed in as a forward and our forward structure and delivery inside 50 need to continue to improve. If that happens, Coops is going to absolutely smash it next year.
He was dropped twice this year.not sure how that can be considered consistent.I think Sharmo showed pretty reasonable consistency last season. Too old for our next stint yet we have people here happy to give away a 2nd round pick for Macrae. It's a strange scenario...if we retain Membrey, he is still too good to overlook for selection, so it does slow the development of Sharman or Caminiti if they make way. If I was Collingwood, I'd take him in a heartbeat, could well kick the winning goal deep in the 4th quarter of a premiership
You want to slap me?I get he played there for a bit, bur I want to slap you for;
- Calling Keeler a "medium" type.
- Calling him a defender.
Man is a ruck forward that played defense cause it's easier to learn play than it is being up forward or in mid.
He was dropped twice this year.not sure how that can be considered consistent.
His back end was very handy.
He improved in the second half of season for sure that Essendon game was his breakout game IMOSharmo was consistently good when he came back in for the last few months of the season.
That can be considered consistent can't it?
Got pantsed by Campbell and Heath in round 17View attachment 2143890
I watched him a few times this year and he was good, looks like he’s pasted the best the VFL has to offer without being as fit as some.
The only blokes I’d look at are Moyle, Bryan, and Reeves, and all require trades which I’m not sure we’d be prepared to pay enough for to satisfy their current clubs. They are just named as cheap possibilities - who do you suggest we pick up?
Reid is sorry Liam Reidy from Freo who they expect to get delisted.
Victim of his own versatility IMO. Much like Battle early on - thrown forward, back, wing, sub. When allowed to settle up forward late in the season he thrived. His back end of the season was good but he also hasn't been able to cement a spot in the side for a decent period of time.
If that's not flaky I'm not sure what is. And I rate him by the way.
Yes he was consistent for a period at the end but his season was flaky as every season before it.Sharmo was consistently good when he came back in for the last few months of the season.
